I’m sooooo pissed right now.
what am I doing? I SHOULD be on the flight and will arrived Chicago in less than 2 hours. but sadly, no. I’m still sitting at home, tired, angry, and typing in front of my laptop.
United Airline canceled my flight at 10:50PM, from San Diego to Chicago. The reason? man, you better sit tight. the reason they canceled my flight is, the captain is sick. wtf?! if the captain is sick, shouldn’t they know that like, couple hours ago? why do they cancel the flight after tons people checked-in, passed the security check, and stood in front of the boarding gate?
tell me, does it make any sense?
this is my second time facing the canceled flight. 1st time was from LAX to Denver, operated by American Airline. my family drove from Santa Barbara 3 to 4 hours earlier in order to catch flight at 1PM. after we exited I405, AA called us and said, they canceled the flight and book us to the one at 7PM. another wtf. so we spent 6 hours doing nothing, arrived Denver 6 hours late, and still able to catch what we had later since it was NOT a connected flight.
what about this time? ok, this time is from San Diego to Chicago. not so lucky this time–this IS a connected flight. I need to fly from San Diego to Chicago with UA, and then from Chicago to Philadelphia and Philadelphia to Ithaca with US Airline. nothing to do with US Airline since they still fly their flights but god damn UA canceled theirs–which means I don’t even have a chance to catch the later connections by US Airline.
one more funny thing. they offered another flight tomorrow morning at 10AM, still from San Diego to Chicago. but how do I know they are NOT going to trick me AGAIN? forget about that! the reason why people chose over night flight is they don’t want to waste day time or working time. why do I want to play with 10AM and arrive like midnight of nowhere? plus, they are not going to operate flights to Ithaca anyway!!! the earliest time I can get to Ithaca is like, 1 or 2AM of Saturday. WHY DO I FLY THERE ON SATURDAY WHEN I’M COMING BACK ON MONDAY MORNING? F that.
the only good thing I have tonight is, I got full refund from US Airline (’cause they have the ticket stock or whatever that is) but what about my time? my energy? my mood? and the favor I owe ’cause I ask my friend to drive me to airport? totally F that.
anyway, I’m not going to fly with UNITED AIRLINE or AMERICAN AIRLINE ANYMORE. good night.
